Bridge Cottage is a beautifully renovated crofter’s cottage near Glenlivet, set on the edge of The Cairngorms National Park. Overlooking the ancient Packhorse Bridge; a landmark famously featured on the Glenlivet Whisky logo. The cottage offers breathtaking views in every season.

The Cottage

Bridge Cottage is a detached, centrally heated home designed for comfort and relaxation. The open-plan living and dining area features a wood-burning stove, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. (Logs are provided free of charge.)

The fully equipped kitchen offers stunning views of the Packhorse Bridge and includes everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Step outside to a fully enclosed private garden, where you’ll find a timber-decked seating area—the perfect spot to take in the breathtaking scenery and listen to the gentle flow of the River Livet.

We love to personally welcome our guests upon arrival, giving you a tour of the cottage and answering any questions you may have. We’re also happy to offer local recommendations to help you make the most of your stay!

Things to note

• Guests have exclusive access to the entire ground floor and garden. Please note: the upstairs room is locked for storage and safety reasons.
• Mobile phone service can be unreliable in the area, so please review the check-in instructions before arrival.
• Glenlivet Estate does not have a local shop. The nearest shop and post office are at Ballindalloch Filling Station.
• Nearby towns with shops, cafés, and restaurants include Tomintoul (9.3 miles), Aberlour, and Dufftown (both approximately 12 miles away).
• Dining options in Glenlivet include The Glenlivet Distillery bar and The Croft Inn, which serves Thai cuisine.
• A round of golf can be booked at the nearby Ballindalloch Distillery, the only distillery with its own golf club and bar.
• We recommend bringing some food and supplies upon arrival. Essentials such as toilet rolls, laundry detergent, hand wash, washing-up liquid, and cleaning products are provided.
• The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, plates, and other essentials. Towels, linen, and a hairdryer are also included.
