Welcome to Livet Valley Cottages. We hope you enjoy your stay in one of our cottages and continue to return to experience the beauty of the region.

Travel Insurance For your protection, we strongly recommend that all guests arrange their own travel insurance, as we do not provide coverage.

Booking & Payment Terms By making a reservation, the client agrees to the following terms:

  • A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking of:
    • £100 for short breaks (3 or 4 nights)
    • £200 for longer stays
  • Full payment is due four weeks before the arrival date. We will send you a polite reminder as the date approaches.
  • Full payment is required at the time of booking for reservations made within four weeks of arrival ("Late" bookings).
  • Payments should be made via BACS to our Livet Valley account.

Cancellation Policy

  • If a booking is canceled within 28 days of arrival, all monies may be forfeited at the discretion of Livet Valley Cottages.
  • If canceled more than 28 days before arrival, the deposit is retained but may be applied to another booking within the same calendar year. Any additional payments will be refunded within 28 days of written cancellation acknowledgment.

Cancellations by Livet Valley Cottages

  • If we must cancel a booking, a full refund will be issued within 10 working days. No further financial claims will be considered.

Check-in & Check-out

  • Check-in: 4:00 PM on the arrival day
  • Check-out: 10:00 AM on the departure day

Occupancy & Conduct

  • The number of guests must not exceed the agreed-upon occupancy at the time of booking. Unauthorized occupancy may result in termination of the stay without compensation.
  • Guests are expected to leave the cottage clean and tidy. Any damages or breakages must be reported immediately, and reimbursement may be required before departure.
  • We reserve the right to enter the property at reasonable times for inspections, repairs, or maintenance.
  • We accept no liability for loss, damage, or theft of personal property, including vehicles, bicycles, or other belongings.
  • Guests should report any accommodation issues as soon as possible so we can address them promptly.

Wi-Fi Usage Policy

We provide free Wi-Fi, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. By using our Wi-Fi, guests agree to:

  • Use the internet responsibly and avoid accessing unlawful, offensive, or copyrighted content.
  • Acknowledge that we do not monitor usage but reserve the right to suspend access if misuse occurs.
  • Accept that we are not liable for security breaches, data loss, or any damages resulting from internet use.
  • Refrain from engaging in any illegal activity, including copyright infringement and harassment.
  • Acknowledge that we may log IP addresses and provide information to authorities if required by law.

Lost Property Items left behind can be returned upon receipt of a pre-paid address label. We recommend using Royal Mail or Hermes for this service.

Linen & Towels For stays longer than eight days, we provide a change of linen and towels, with the guest's approval of the timing.
